It was just a matter of time before we all underwent psychoanalysis. The only real question was whether it was going to be some FBI study on the criminally insane or perhaps a more altruistic university research grant in hopes of improving humanity (by preventing future generations from growing up to become like us). At Typeanalyzer.com you can have any blog assessed and psychologically profiled. More on AmericanIdle.org after the jump.
This episode may be even funnier than the original Robot Chicken Star Wars show. Seth MacFarlane is back in three clips as the voice of Emperor Palpatine. All good stuff. [Adult Swim - Robot Chicken Star Wars II - full episode]

It looks a bit badassed, if I do say so myself.
I really dig this- kind of haunting in some places, and kind of crazy in others. Its an interesting look at what is on people's minds- at least in Google's view.

A joke only those with the first edition Dieties and Demigods will have gotten...

Ah, shortpacked. (click read more to check the comic)
So California, as usual, has a litany of bond proposals and propositions and so forth in addition to the national stuff. There are dozens of these props and bonds and on top of that I don't really know much of who is running for city council, supervisor, etc. here in San Francisco. A lot of people seem to get info from the local newspapers but I'm skeptical because I don't know who is paying what for advertising. So, here are a few sites I have found that I'm browsing over. If anyone living in California has other suggestions of where to look for real information, I'd appreciate it if you posted links.
First up: [SPUR - San Francisco Urban Development Research] This group seems to be composed mostly of architects and civil engineers who look at urban development in a more European way. IE, growth without sprawl and generally in a Green way. I trust these guys a bit more than the Sierra Club, which although well-intentioned can be a little too over-the-top at times.
Next, League of Women Voters. They've been around for a while and seem to do their research. They also are non-partisan and do not accept money from anyone.
Last up is San Francisco Tenant's Union. Some of you own property (lucky bastards) but I still rent so I took a peek here.
Any other suggestions please add on in the comments.
Linked to on my new favorite blog, Topless Robot:
Happy Friday People!
BioWare and LucasArts reveal... Knights of the Old Republic Online.
Not a lot of gameplay or content ideas released, though I like the idea of storylines and quests being locked or unlocked based on character choices. And I like the, uh, bigness of it.
I guess when TBA comes, I'll check it out.
Oh man, what a bug report.
Well, you knew something like this had to be coming. Courtesy of Wonkette here is the Sarah Palin Debate Flowchart. (If one of you smarties wants to post the actual diagram here instead of the link go right ahead)
We are 1 Step closer to the sweetness!!
So the first time I took the quiz I ended up most similar to.... Loretta? WTF? I identify with Brian more than anyone, damn it. [Which Family Guy Character Are You?]
Seems like the current X-Men authors saw the city in the pinnacle of the X-Men universe--X-Men 3: The Last Stand--and moved them there.
[ X-Men go west, to San Francisco ]
Seriously tho, X-Men in SF? I'm not skeptical because I hate change like makavity, but because X-Men in an environment that welcomes their diversity is just not what the comic is about, IMHO.
Well... I certainly hope so.
Cuil debuted today. Here is the AP article on the new website.
Me? I hate the front page right now. All black == The suck, but whatever.. I'll play.

I can't imagine this will stay for long.

Update: I have been watching this change go up and be reverted over and over. Best comment from the revision history: "clearly someone doesn't read the news. this is a valid change"
