Man, if we had an awesome tag this story would get it. NCSoft, the makers of City of Heroes, released a tool to generate characters outside of the game in Korea. Someone figured out how to hack it so that it's text is in english. You can grab [the program itself here.](http://drives.daboyz.org/mike/CCC_Setup.exe "Wooot") . Once it's installed, follow these docs:
* Open the Registry Editor -- Start, Run, regedit (for XP, I think W2K users want regedt32 instead)
* Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Cryptic, KRCOH
* In the right-hand pane, double-click and change the Locale value to 0
* In the left-hand pane, right-click on KRCOH and select Permissions
* Click Advanced, then Add
* Type 'Everyone' (no quotes) and hit OK
* Tick Set Value for "Full Access" - Deny
* Click OK, Yes, OK, and close the editor.
Woot woot!

No. Before that when you are
When you’re installing it
When you're installing it it's all crazy moon language. You just have to go by 'feel' to get in installed. It's pretty easy- every program on windows tends to ask the same questions when it installs.
After that's done, I've found that you need to actually one the program once for it to install the registry keys- THEN you can follow the instructions above on how to get it into english.
I just wish they had all the CoV options in it. There's so many cool ones in CoV. I don't understand why they have seperate character generators. Ho's.
